Vitamin E Useless in Body Lotion
Myths about common lotion ingredient vitamin E are exposed, as Trivani International creates a body lotion better than most leading brands which contains no vitamin E.

SPRINGVILLE, UT, August 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Trivani International, a Utah based network marketing company, has created a healthy hydrating lotion which contains no vitamin E. Although vitamin E is good for the skin, research has proven it is useless in lotion as well as topical creams.

Trivani Hydrating Lotion is designed with micro-estolides which are intended to mimic each individual's unique skin. Ingredients include Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Aleurites, Moluccana Seed Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Meadowfoam Estolide, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Hydrolyzed Algin, Chlorella Vulgaris Extract, Sea Water, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Extract.

One important observation to note is that Trivani International does not use vitamin E in their lotions. Owner and founder of Trivani International Leslie DeeAnn clearly stated in a recent interview. "No we do not use vitamin E in Trivani Hydrating Lotion."

The majority of companies which sell skin care products market vitamin E as one of the benefits of a particular lotion. All scientists agree that one of the functions of vitamin E is to maintain the integrity of the body's intracellular membrane by protecting its physical stability and providing a defence line against tissue damage caused by oxidation. (Brigelius-Flohe; Traber, MG (1999). "Vitamin E: function and metabolism". The FASEB journal : official publication of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology) Many companies are aware of this fact and often add vitamin E as an ingredient in an effort to use it as a clever marketing tactic.

While vitamin E is good for the skin, it is unable to penetrate through the skin due to the fact that it is a fat soluble vitamin. The only method to obtaining its nutrients is to ingest it by taking vitamin E orally through food or pill form. (Wang; Quinn, PJ (1999). "Vitamin E and its function in membranes."). Trivani International is aware of this, and since vitamin E does not work in lotions, Trivani International has created a product which employs ingredients that "do no harm" as their philosophy states, and which do not contain vitamin E.
