Salugen Announces New Scientific Advisors
Salugen builds upon its Medical Advisory Board with a team of scientific advisors who bring expertise in the Top 3 Leading Causes of Preventable Death

The Company has recruited Robin Marzi, R.D. as its Director of Nutrition and Complementary Health. As a registered dietician who has been in clinical practice for many years, Robin has been an advisor to many leading wellness initiatives including Balance Bar (www.balance.com) and helped many patients achieve their health objectives.

Not only does she bring hands-on dietetic experience to our team, but she understands integrative medicine having been involved in various leading edge treatments including neurotransmitter and bio-identical hormone therapies," states CEO Brian Meshkin.

Ms. Marzi states, "Salugen is positioned at the vanguard of the new trends in integrative health. I am excited about joining the team and taking a hands-on approach to support clinicians and patients using our product lines to support better health outcomes."

Expanding its world-renowned Medical Advisory Board, the Company announces formation of its Scientific Advisory Board. In addition to Robin, Salugen has recruited a team of researchers and practitioners. Some of the members of the Scientific Advisory Board include:

• Scott Steffensen, Ph.D., professor and Director of the Neuroscience Center at Brigham Young University, formerly with Harvard School of Medicine and Scripps Institute
• Laura Lagano, M.S., R.D., Chair of the Publications Committee of the American Dietetics Association Nutrition and Complementary Care Study Group;
• Jay Segal, Ph.D., Director of The Center on Obesity Research and Education at Temple University and a Professor in the Department of Public Health;
• Gerri French, M.S., RD, CDE, a nutritionist and dietician with the Sansum Clinic in Santa Barbara, California who is also the Food & Nutrition Editor for Diabetes Health magazine
